On a School of Applied Knowledge station in the Caldari State.
Chapter I: Tranquil Days.
An instructor gives lectures on the many techniques in starship engineering as an 18 year old Tatiana takes notes on her data pad but keeps getting mails from a boy that is into her from across the class room. Tatiana tries to ignore them but after the class is over she is confronted by the boy in the hall. The boy looks at her handing her a small chrome sphere "I hope you like it, I made it from a melted down gyro" Tatiana smiles and takes the ball "This is very pretty, how did you get it so smooth?" The boy starts to walk with her down the hall explaining how he used a laser to sculpt it.
Later having lunch the two get to know each other "My name is Geddy Verkol, what is yours?" Tatiana who is loving the company tells Geddy that her name is Tatiana Amadeus. The two hit it off for almost a whole year and Tatiana slowly falls for the sweet boy.
Chapter II: The Days Darken.
One evening Tatiana gets a message to meet Geddy on the observation deck of the station. Tatiana dresses her self and makes her way to the observation room. Geddy is there waiting with a flower "I am so glad you could make it, I have something you might like to see." Tatiana curious as ever "Oh? what could you have in an empty room?" Geddy smiles walking to her side and points out into space "Do you see that small star there?" Tatiana focuses on the small spec of light "yes but the view is full of stars." Geddy sits her down on his lap "Well here in a few minutes the light from that star's super nova will reach us." The star suddenly bursts into a far but bright light as Tatiana looks into Geddy's eyes "It is beautiful." Geddy looking into hers "The universe is full of beauty." Geddy kisses Tatiana slowly but the station alarms go off as strange dark ships warp in with massive numbers. Lasers smash into the station tearing at its shields as Tatiana and Geddy watch in fear.
Small craft bash into the station after the shields and armor are ripped from the station, Strange looking soldiers board and start to abduct researchers and students. Three soldiers come into the observation room and Geddy stands trying to protect Tatiana but one of the soldiers shoot Geddy and he falls to the ground. Tatiana drops to her knees over Geddy holding his hand to her chest "Geddy? Geddy are you ok?" Tears fall from her cheeks as the soldiers forcefully subdue and drag her off.
Chapter III: Him.
Tatiana wakes up in bondage with many other men, women, and children who are all in bondage and scared, one man is screaming at the top of his lungs for 4 hours straight till his voice gives out. A voice is heard over loud speaker "I am your savior, I am your caretaker, I am your master. If you obey my will then you will achieve a new level of being. You will sleep now and when you wake, you will be given your task."
Gas is sent into the room and Tatiana wakes to find her self completely naked and wires coming out of her back and a layer of a brown/green oil like liquid covering all below her neck but before she can move she wakes again floating in darkness with small star like lights all around her. The stars emit voices of hundreds to even thousands of minds all thinking at the same time. Then all the voices are drowned out by one voice, one loud booming voice. "I am Sansha Kuvakei and you are all part of my nation. Your task is to produce new technologies and to fight in my name. If you refuse, you will be punished. First you will feel pain that you have never felt before. A second time you will suffer this pain for 7 days. A third you will be turned into a drone and your actions will not be your own but you will be completely aware of what you do and what you feel. This is final" the voices return with fear and hate. Tatiana refuses to obey out of hate thus she is forced to feel an unbearable pain as if her whole body was going through every pain it can possible feel both emotionally and physically, this pain persists for several hours after which Tatiana now obeys out of fear.
Chapter IV: The Nightmare With No End.
For several years Tatiana is left in this darkness to work with the voices to create new technologies. She has lost complete track of time, she was not sure if she had been here for days, weeks, months, or even years. She also noticed that she has never slept as if there is no sleep. but suddenly one day she is in space around a Nightmare battleship, She can move around it and even hear the sounds around it simulated in some way. She hears a voice "All ships warp to sector 32 Alpha and attack all Amarrian intruders." Suddenly she is able to move the ship to the new location and upon arrival explosions and laser fire fill her sights, after being so long in darkness with only the voices of other minds for sound the situation is sheer overload for her senses. With out much thought her ship fires on the amarr she can hear the communication chatter of the Amarr, They scream in terror and prey to their gods as her lasers penetrate their armor, She can even hear the screams of families aboard the near by station as it is attacked. Flashbacks of her first encounter on that observation deck feels her mind, the loss of Geddy breaks her will. Tatiana tries to resist but the commander of the sansha fleet has total control and she is merely a puppet to control the ship.
Chapter V: Loyalty By Fear.
More years pass and Tatiana stuck in the darkness and surrounded by the voices, she does as commanded out of fear of punishment. She hears his evil voice always speaking of the great things the Nation does yet all she ever sees, is pain and death. She has lost all hope but continues on out of fear. Her only thoughts are of her past but it fades as more frightening things take their place. She cant remember the names of her parents or what they looked like, She cant remember her home.
Tatiana losses her train of thought and stops working with the others, suddenly she wakes to the voice of a familiar woman, the voice of that commander who had her slaughter those Amarrians. She is at a Jove station, she can hear no communications coming from the Jove and all their ships sit motionless in space. The commander orders for boarding parties to be launched. Tatiana blanks and then wakes walking in the station, again her actions not of her own. Tatiana can see Jove laying around awake yet dead in the mind, her rifle raised, she fires on the motionless Jove killing them. Tatiana cant stand watching her self do such things but she cant stop. She finds this more painful than having been punished for disobeying Him.
Chapter VI: Darkness Lost.
Again Tatiana is back in her darkness and with the voices she calls the stars. Suddenly she can hear the stars scream out in pain, fear, hate, and many in joy as they start to go silent rapidly. Tatiana confused and scared cries out "Why? I dont want to be alone, please come back." Suddenly she is violently awoken coughing on the oily material as she hears station alarms and the communications of cheering attackers, strange to her to have some one cheer at the deaths of thousands. She struggles to climb out of the tub of oil as the cables are ripped out of her back, she falls to the floor barely able to move from her body growing weak all this time. She manages to make it to her feet only to be killed by an explosion. Though shocked and confused she wakes in a clone vat completely normal and able to walk. Tatiana finds a near by locker with all her stuff she had when she was abducted along with the small chrome sphere Geddy gave her. Tatiana checks out the cloning vat and sees that its linked to implants that must of been implanted in her while she was gassed in that room so long ago. Tatiana knowing that the clone vat is linked to her and that if it is destroyed she cant come back, proceeds to have it loaded onto a sansha frigate while the station is being destroyed. Tatiana makes it off the station and warps out while the attackers destroy the station.
Chapter VII: Still The Voices Remain.
Her NEOcom updates with the ship's computers and she sees that it has been 40 years, 40 years of torture, fear, hate, death, and confusion. Tatiana can still hear the voices even though they are just imaginings of her mind to help her cope with the loss of the link to sansha. Tatiana heads for Caldari space while trying to catch up on current events to learn what a capsuleer is and that much has changed. Tatiana makes it to CONCORD who runs tests and deems her unfit for society, they revoke her citizenship and denies her work. Tatiana travels for a few months and meets up with the NRTF and ends up being assigned as an industrial adviser and makes some friends in the Club.
Tatiana is still tortured by memories of those 40 years and all she has left of her dear Geddy is that small chrome sphere that she plays with.
