Secrets Of The Angels:
Chapter I: The Beginnings.
Jula walks with Akhilesh down a long hall on their hidden station deep in space, a near by star can be seen in the distance from the view ports that line one side of the hall, Akhilesh looks over at Jula as they walk "You know when all this started? That one temple we found?" Jula nods "Yes and it almost drove you mad." Akhilesh chuckles "Oh my love, it only opened my mind to the truth of this life." Jula looks at Akhilesh with worry "As you say, but it did change you, you are nothing like the man I met all them years ago." Akhilesh just continues walking in silence for a minute then stops, he turns to Jula with no emotion on his face, just looking blankly into her eyes as she turns to him. Akhilesh grabs her and embraces her as he kisses her for what seems like an eternity to Jula "I am still here, I will always be here for as long as I live." Jula gets her usual worried smile from Akhilesh's words "For as long as you live is not something to brag about in this world." Akhilesh sighs "No it is not, but we will overcome that as we always do, lets not forget that your supposed to be dead, my dear." They continue to walk again as they come to their quarters, Jula opens the door but looks at Akhilesh "When will you tell me what the speaker showed you?" Akhilesh's face saddens as he looks into their room "It is something that would only frighten you, the dark images it showed was that of death and destruction. It showed so much knowledge but it also showed that which even Angels fear." Jula puts her hand on Akhilesh's cheek "You mean the darkness the witches speak of?" Akhilesh just nods and goes into their room to rest, Jula follows and joins him in bed.
Chapter II: The Speaker
(Dream) Akhilesh in his youth stands at a witch's temple on a storm world, the large triangular door stands before him, the temple has a massive spire reaching into the raging storms above as it is bombarded with lightning. Akhilesh looks over to his commander "My lord, we are ready to enter the temple" The commander looks back to all his men "For God and the Empire, we shall step foot into this temple of sin and cleans of it of it's evil." The men bow their heads and move into the temple. Akhilesh is second in command and gives orders to his squad "Be ready to follow any orders given, this place stinks of sin." they make it through the temple with no signs of hostile movement or any life, the commander feels more confident that God is protecting them with each step. They take a large elevator deep into the crust of the storm world, they find a maze of tunnels and activity, the halls seem to be buzzing with activity in the walls and power courses through the walls like blood through the body, they begin to make their way through the halls.
They reach a small room with a pedestal, it has a small strange looking sphere on it, it looks like it is floating and is made of chrome, Akhilesh seems drawn too it, almost mystified by the object. The commander yells at Akhilesh to stop but he ignores as if all he is aware of is that sphere. Akhilesh picks up the sphere and instantly screams in pain and falls to the floor gripping the sphere with all his might, he doesnt let go, the commander and medic try to help.
Chapter III: Visions Of Generations.
Akhilesh awakes to a white room with a small strange looking girl standing in front of him, her skin is pail and her irises glow a pale blue as she stares at him, Akhilesh speaks to the girl "Where am I?" The girl tilts her head in curiosity "You are in your mind, I am the speaker." Akhilesh tries to move but can only stand and watch "I cant move in my own mind?" the girl walks up and grabs his hand "I am only the speaker, I am only here to give information, and there is much to tell." Akhilesh tries to take back his hand but cant control it "I need to get back to my squad, they will be wondering about what has happened." The girl smiles "Time in here is not the same as out there, your brain is processing information at its peek, I am able to do this and I must tell you much." Akhilesh nods "Fine, what is it you wish to tell?" The girl is walking with him with his hand in her's. "As we speak, I am downloading the knowledge of my people into your mind, but do not worry, I am being very careful to not overload your simple mind." Akhilesh clears his throat "Simple?" The girl smiles "Please do not take offense, simple means its easier for me to do my duty, this temple is sought after by the darkened one. He will come and he plans to enslave all of you." Akhilesh looks at the girl "How do you know this?" an image of the man appears with a large pistol aimed at Akhilesh "This is the one called the Patriarch, This was taken from the last person to use me, they gave me this information before betraying the Patriarch but she failed in her attempt." Akhilesh studies the Patriarch "Is this all you wanted to show me?" The girl shakes her had with her eyes shut and then looks at Akhilesh, the room turns pitch black "An old tale told by my people, Darkness falls and billions scream out in terror, the void cracks the mind, mountains disappear, fires spread, many die, and many flee, but no where to run when a universe bleeds. I tell you this tale as it is true, the Patriarch works as an agent of darkness and must be stopped. The secret love you hold for the woman will be broken, your child shall die, your empires will fall, and your worlds will be nothing any more." Akhilesh takes his hand away now in full control of it "You probe my mind and try to scare me of demons and darkness, you threaten me and mine and even my faith in God?" The girl looks down "I was afraid you may not believe me, surely all your kind is doomed to the most vile of fates. I am the speaker and lies are not what I preach. Truth is all I will tell and once I am done downloading our history and knowledge, you too will have to believe"
Chapter IV: The Patriarch.
Akhilesh wakes to see his whole squad and commander laying dead on the ground and the Patriarch standing, holding the sphere but it doesnt seem to be working. "Come on you cursed speaker, I came for information, now speak." Akhilesh slowly stands up and the Patriarch looks over at him and drops the speaker on the ground and pulls out his pistol at Akhilesh "So, did the speaker happen to speak to you, Human?" Akhilesh shakes his head slowly while slowly stepping back "You think your lies will get past me? I would of enslaved your kind millions of years ago if it was up to me... hmm now it seems it is for once." The Patriarch starts to walk up to Akhilesh but a naked female looking machine runs up and grabs the Patriarch and yells to Akhilesh with the speaker's voice "RUN! LEAVE WHILE YOU CAN!" Akhilesh runs but the temple shakes as it begins to fall to pieces.
Akhilesh falls to the ground as he tries to make it to the elevator but it wont move, he notices stairs but the temple shakes so violently that he stumbles and falls every other step, shots are heard and the Patriarch is seen running to Akhilesh, the Patriarch's irises glow a crimson red as he grabs Akhilesh and stares into his eyes, the female machine grabs his legs and tries to pull him away as Akhilesh tries to make it up the stairs once again. The Patriarch grabs Akhilesh's leg with a grip strong enough to break his leg. he screams in pain.
Chapter V: The Worried Lover.
Akhilesh wakes soaked in sweat in his bed as he screams in fear, Jula sits next to him crying "Your getting worse, it is almost every night now that you have that dream." Akhilesh looks to Jula "How do you know which dream it is?" Jula sighs "Because its the same exact thing every time, you speak of some darkness and then wake screaming as if you had just died." Akhilesh sits at the edge of the bed "I fear that what the speaker said was true, I fear that all we have, will be lost. I have strange visions every time a witch artifact is shown to me, as if she really did input all of their knowledge into my mind, I just cant access it at will, it only shows me information about the artifact and that is all." Jula comes up behind him and rubs his shoulders "You are a strong man, what ever that speaker did to you, I am sure it can be fixed." Akhilesh sighs "I believe the speaker wasnt done when I woke up, I think the Patriarch took the speaker out of my hands before she was done. This may be because she wasnt finished." Jula kisses Akhilesh on the back of the neck "Maybe it is time we see your daughter then, I wouldnt want you to die before you do so." Akhilesh nods "I believe so, we will have to plan an opportune time to do so."
