Chapter I: The Cursed Cruise.
Aboard the Avatar class Titan named "Forsaken Star" the captain walks the halls with his XO as they go over the mission planned for them and the new crew. The XO looks to the captain "My lord, the Forsaken Star has been cleared for it's first flight and the crew is ready to follow any order." The captain nods "Very good, please summon all high ranking officers to the council room." The XO bows his head "By your command, my lord"
The officers are assembled in the room all sitting at a long table with the captain. The captain stands "I am Lord Vallen, I am the captain of this titan and I want every one of you to obey every command I give and to act as the Imperial Navy has trained you, I will not accept failure, is this understood?" The officers all bow and reply "Yes my lord." Vallen pulls up a hologram of New Eden "We have been given a mission by the Ministry of Internal Order, They request that we support a gate camp in a system bordering none empire space, we are to prevent a large incursion of Blood Raiders on the Empire." The officers gasp and murmur to each other, the captain sits down and turns off the hologram "Is there any objections to this mission?" Torva the lead engineering officer stands "My lord, this vessel has only just been completed a day ago, we have not had proper time to test all the systems." The Vallen stands and looks to Torva "The Ministry has given this order, we are to obey. I trust that you can get everything operation and working at full capacity by the time we set off." Torva sits back down "Yes my lord, may I ask? How long do we have, before operations are a go?" Vallen walks to the door and looks back "Five hours, make it so." All the officers stand and bow "Yes my lord." they say as a group as Vallen leaves the council room.
Chapter II: The Crew's Last Goodbyes.
The crew all contact their loved ones and friends as they say their goodbyes. Torva sits at the main control panels for the Jump Generator as he tries to get them calibrated for jumping. Kate, a communications officer sends her boyfriend a few funny clips of her with the crew.
